Everest Institute - Bensalem |
Everest Institute in Bensalem believes that serving the community and its needs by providing student access to an accredited career college education can be a means of driving the kind of change that makes a difference in the people's lives.
As one of Everest's schools in the Philadelphia area, we also believe that providing hands-on classroom learning environments and challenging projects can give students the incentive and educational leverage they need to make an impact when it comes time to launch an entry-level career. We provide instructors who can share real-world knowledge. This encourages students to get involved with a different kind of passion for learning and internalizing new experiences.
For students, having access to peers with similar goals and passions can be a huge incentive to get things done. It is all about support, and the entire staff at Everest in Bensalem is committed to helping students succeed from the moment they arrive right up to the day of graduation.
Student Tutoring - Students have access to tutoring services provided to help those who are challenged by a specific course. We will do everything possible to help a student experience success at each stage of their education. A member of the student's peer group or a member of the faculty staff may offer tutoring services.
Holiday Activities - Calendar events will be planned throughout the year and may include fund raising, student appreciation days, and holiday toy drives or other activities based on seasonality. Our student ambassadors play an important leadership role in setting a standard for other students looking to become involved in community activities.
Student Ambassador Program - The Student Ambassador Program permits new and tenured students to form peer-to-peer support networks, which serve to support, help, recognize and appreciate students for their hard work and efforts. Creating a supportive learning environment can go a long way in helping students develop a winning mindset.
Everest CAREs - Being involved and encouraging student success at every stage of their learning experience is a priority. Everest's CARE Student Assistance Program can provide a measure of assistance to any student who experiences a challenge in completing his or her educational goals.
Career Placement Services - The Career Services department is instrumental in helping students get the most out of job boards, industry classified, forums, various professional organizations and employer sites of interest. We also work with graduates in helping them develop effective resumés, cover letters, best-practice interviewing techniques and wardrobe advice on how to dress appropriately for the workplace environment.
