Having problems applying online?

Technical Requirements

Please read through the following technical requirements and ensure that your computer is set up accordingly. Many times this helps resolve the issue and can get you back on track in submitting your resume or completing your application.

  • It is necessary to use one of the following computer configurations:
    • With Windows XP, Internet Explorer 6, 7 and 8 are supported as well as Firefox 3.5
    • With Windows Vista, Internet Explorer 7 and 8 are supported as well as Firefox 3.5
    • With Windows 7, Internet Explorer 8 is supported as well as Firefox 3.5
    • With Mac OS X 10.4 and above, Safari 3.x and Firefox 3.5 may work most of the time but not necessarily always. Try one of the configurations above if Mac is an issue.
  • You must deactivate any firewall or security system on your computer such as Norton, Symantec or McAfee as well as other software products that are known to interfere with the online application such as toolbars, etc...
  • Enable your pop-ups.
  • To prevent you from being timed out, make sure you are spending less than 10 minutes on any given page.
  • Try deleting the cookies and temporary internet files in the Tools > Internet Options menu of Internet Explorer.
  • Enable your cookies.

Submitting Your Online Application

Please review the following guidelines to be sure that the application is completed properly:

  • Please check to make sure that all areas with an (*) asterisk are filled in, including the resume section.
  • Only put numbers in the salary section, no dollar signs or letters.
  • Passwords should be at least eight characters long and must include at least one capital letter and one numerical character.
  • Please make sure you choose a secret question and answer.
  • If you receive an alert indicating that the profile you created is a duplicate, you have already created a profile. Please log-in using the e-mail address and password you used when you originally created your profile.
  • If you have forgotten your password, click on the area that says “Forgot your password?” A new password will be sent to your email address.
  • You will be required to entering your resume information in fields and also upload a copy of your resume.

Updating & Checking the Status of Your Application

  • To update a specific job application, log into the Career Section using the login and password you originally provided. In the list of jobs, select a job, click on the "View/Edit Submission", link and then add, change, or remove information as necessary. (Please note that if the position has already been filled or is no longer available, you will not be able to change your application.)
  • To update your general candidate profile, log into your Candidate Profiler using the username and password you originally provided and update accordingly.
  • To check the status of an application, you can log in as a returning user and see your prior applications in the "My Job Page".
  • If you need to change your email address, you must access your personal information in a Candidate Profile or a Job Specific Application. Go to the login page and enter as a returning user using your old email address. On the Personal Information page, enter your new email address in the Email Address field, and then click the Continue button at the bottom of the page.
