Today's vehicles are far more advanced than the autos of yester-year. Working on them requires a greater understanding of the science and technology that is used in the manufacturing process. Our facilities take that fact into consideration, and include the diagnostic equipment and tools necessary to keep in step with the industry.
The student will be able to explore everything under the hood of an engine, and will spend divided time between the classroom and the shop.
Basic Automotive Technology study includes: Basic Engine Management Systems, Drivability Diagnostics, Drivetrain Systems, and Chassis Repair.
The student will also have the option of choosing a Program Specialty in such areas as: Advanced Automotive Diagnostics, Applied Service Management, High Performance Powertrain, and Street Rod and Custom Fabrication to name a few.
Getting the right education means there will be plenty of job opportunities in the field of Automotive Technology that you will be qualified for when the time arrives.
