If you are interested in seeking a career in the marine technology field, the Marine Technology Program prepares the student to gain entrance to the industry as an entry-level marine engine technician.
Your training will cover the operations and upkeep of in-board gasoline engines, and diesel powered marine engines, systems and components.
Core training includes: Vessel Power Transmission, Inboard Engine Propulsion Systems, Diesel Engines, Power Generation and Marine Electronics, and Outboard Engine Propulsion Systems.
Graduates of the Marine Technology Program may seek employment as a Franchise Dealership Technician, Marine Fleet Technician, Engine Builder, and an Aftermarket Parts Application/Development parts specialist.
